Keeping track
What good is media exposure if your sponsors don’t know about it? They hire you to get exposure and help them sell product, but many sponsors are not very savvy when it comes to media.
Don’t tell them, show them
One of the things that can separate a good how-to story from a great one is the difference between telling someone (the writer and the audience) how to do something and showing a person how to do it.
Be proactive
If you’re like most professional anglers, you haven’t won back-to-back Bassmaster Classics or caught an all-tackle world record of a major species. You probably haven’t dined with the President of the United States and you don’t host a television fishing show that regularly gets more than a million viewers.
